Barcelona Inspiration: A Photo Diary From My Time In BCN
Are you traveling to Barcelona soon?
I was reminded of my time in Barcelona during my round the world trip because my friend’s parents are headed there and his mother asked me for advice. Many friends love Barcelona and a handful of friends have even lived there yet I did not fall in love with it as much as I had hoped. I need a do-over! In the meanwhile, I wanted to share this Barcelona inspiration photo album to help you get inspired for your trip!
While I was in Barcelona, I had just come from Madrid with a lung infection. I was very tired and weak. I had lost my travel mojo after my mother passed away from cancer a few short months before. Some of her last few words to me were, “Keep traveling and finish what you started!” So I forced myself to keep going even though I wanted to give up on my RTW trip. I crossed off a few requisite activities in the city but just wanted to go home. I wouldn’t say that I disliked Barcelona, nor would I say that I loved it either. I definitely want to go back to experience the place that everyone seems to love and rave about. I always believe in giving places second chances.
Here are a few Barcelona inspiration photos:
