Visiting San Diego and love flowers? Visit the Carlsbad Flower Fields!

Ahh…spring time!!! Flowers in bloom and warm weather. I love it! Living in Southern California has its downsides like loads of driving and traffic but it also has its perks as well, like warm weather and beaches. Living in almost year round sunshine, I tend to forget about seasons. Luckily there are a few reminders that seasons do exist here, like flowers. I was down south in San Diego last week and drove by the Carlsbad Flower Fields. I didn’t stop in this time but I did go several years ago and thought I would finally share some of my photos.

I recently came across these photos on an old hard drive of mine. I remember that these were photos that I took for the first time after buying my Canon DSLR. I figured that the flower fields would be a perfect place to test out my new camera. While loads of photos I took did not turn out, these a few of the handful that did. And no I did not shoot in auto!!!
