Hotel Review: Magnolia Hotel And Spa In Victoria, Canada
Are you planning a trip to Victoria, Canada??
If you’re looking for accommodations for your Victoria trip, Magnolia Hotel is a great hotel located close to the Inner Harbour. I stayed here in 2014 but never shared my experience here and I thought it was about time I share this great gem of a hotel on my blog!
I went to Victoria for a few days while exploring Vancouver Island. I set up at the Magnolia as my base. My suite was on the 7th floor, which is the top floor of the hotel. In my suite, I had a fireplace, a desk, a spacious bathroom with a tub, and a flat screen tv with tons of channels. As a freelancer, I always work on the road, so having my own dedicated Wi-Fi line for my room was amazing. Yes! Each suite has its own private wi-fi connection. And turn down!! When I would come back to my room after being out all day, the room had been turned down and some chocolate was left on my bed.
If you’re one of those travelers who like to workout on the road (I really need too!!!), there is a small but effective gym in the hotel. There is also a complimentary infrared sauna. I wasn’t able to use it but I’m really interested in trying it out. I’ve never used one but one of my really good friends does it regularly at his yoga studio.
If you’re looking for dining options, within the hotel is Catalano Restaurant & Cicchetti Bar, a Mediterranean eatery on the ground floor. If they still have their Sardinian stew, order that!! It’s amazing.
The Magnolia Hotel is a perfect base in Victoria. It’s close to great coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and great amenities. It’s a perfect Victoria Boutique Hotel.
Here are some photos from my stay:
