September 2016 Instagram Photos
Here’s a recap of things I did in the month of September 2016 and photos shared on my Instagram account. Are you following me there? If not, click here.
What are your favorite airports? I love this airport – Madrid Barajas
Throw a rock and you’re bound to hit an epic church in Spain. I popped into the Almudena Cathedral while walking around Madrid today. Partially to escape the heat and partially to see what the interior is like. Shot with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver.
Sometimes second times are a charm too. I went to Toledo during my RTW trip 5 years for the day. The weather wasn’t the greatest and I was under the weather yet I still loved it. I decided to go back and visit this stunning Unesco World Heritage Site again today and visit some spots that I didn’t before. I may have melted in the 40-degree Celsius heat though.
Don’t forget to look up! When I went to Toledo 5 years ago the cathedral was closed. It’s stunning from the outside but from the inside, it’s absolutely mind blowing. Questions like how was this possible often come into your head. I took a photo of the ceiling inside the Sacristy which was painted by Luca Giordano. Also inside are paintings by El Greco, Goya, and more. I was able to capture the whole thing with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver but it was too big for Instagram.
Taking shelter in the shade or in a museum like Caixa Forum in Madrid. It’s pretty hot here! I’m kind of melting. Is it hot where you are or is summer overrrrrr?
I love Spain.
Another day trip today!!! This time to Segovia, another UNESCO World Heritage site not far from Madrid. Here’s the Roman aqueduct which they believe has been around since the first century. I love Spain!
PATTERN DREAMS. I headed south in Spain yesterday and stopped in Sevilla. I visited the amazing Real Alcazar today. It’s so mind blowing…I couldn’t leave and spent most of the day and still didn’t see enough. I love Spain!

I finally caught a sunset in Sevilla the other evening! The siestas, jet lag, time difference, late nights, too many delicious vino tintos, and cervezas may be the culprit. Jajajajaja! Here’s the beautiful Plaza De España in Seville. I have to say, I love Spain so much.

Hey, all! Made a quick pit stop in Casablanca. Didn’t really have plans to do much other than rest my head for the night en route to Marrakech but I definitely wanted to visit the Hassan II Mosque. It’s biggest in Morocco and 13th in the world. It’s absolutely stunning and I didn’t even go inside! Have you been following my IG stories and Snapchat

Ever been on a trip and you immediately know you’re coming back and you’ve just arrived? Yup.
Never stop exploring my friends! I explored the Bahia Palace today. Shot this one with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I’m having wifi connectivity issues with my iPhone and my local sim barely works. I don’t even give AF, all the better to immerse myself here! I’m in love with Morocco!!!!
Started at the bottom now we here! I was at Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert, one of the most beautiful destinations I have been to. I spent a night camping with Sahara Bereber, I rode a camel for the time and saw the most stars I have in ages including the Milky Way. I can’t wait to come back, inshallah. This photo was shot on my GoPro Hero 4 Silver and powered by my GoalZero solar charger.
The colors and textures of the Sahara are absolutely magnificent! I have just been able to look at what’s on my phone. Can’t wait to get back to Spain and go through all my photos from my different cameras so I can share more! Thanks again to Sahara Bereber for the epic experience!!
We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventure we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open – Jawaharal Nehru
If you’re going to Morocco don’t miss Chefchaouen, a blue gem in the Rif Mountains in the north. I love Morocco!
Throwback Sevilla! How gorgeous is Plaza de España??? It feels like this was ages ago already but it’s only been a couple of weeks. I’m back in Madrid, backing everything up and going through my thousands of photos from Southern Spain and Morocco. I am trying to motivate myself to write and do some work but I’ll be honest and say I just want to drink vino tinto and eat tapas!
