25 Photos From Niagara Falls To Get You Inspired!
Thinking about going to Niagara Falls?
During the summer of 2015, I travelled to Toronto for my cousin’s wedding. Before I left for Toronto, I researched day trips or nearby excursions I could tack on my trip plans. Niagara Falls is the most popular attraction near Toronto and I had never been there. So naturally, I had to go!

HELPFUL GENERAL TRAVEL TIPS
- Flights: Find a cheap flight using Skyscanner or Momondo. I like these two booking sites because they both search all websites and airlines around the globe including budget airlines.
- Accommodations: I use Booking.com or Tripadvisor to find the best rates on hotels. Hotels.com offers a free night after booking 10 nights
- Get up to $40 off your first Air Bnb stay by using this code!
- Travel Insurance: Having gotten sick on my travels in the past, I never travel without being insured. You never know when something may happen. For my round the world trip and extended long-term travel, I use World Nomads. For other trips, I have used Roam Right and they cover activities like extreme sports.
Here are some of my favourite photos from my day trip!
Niagara Whirlpool Aero Car
The Niagara Whirlpool Aero Car is an antique style cable car that takes you over the Niagara River and over the Niagara Whirlpool.

Table Rock Centre
At Table Rock Center you can find a food court, gift shops, a welcome center (where you can get tickets to attractions) and Journey Behind the Falls. Lots of vistas where you can take pictures of the waterfalls.

If you love rainbows you’ll see many rainbows at Niagara. I saw a few double rainbows!
Journey Behind The Falls
This attraction takes you behind Horseshoe Falls. You go down an elevator 45 meters or 150 feet. From there you walk through some tunnels to see the power of the falls. Waterflow of the falls in the summer is 154 million litres (34 million gallons) per minute.
It’s pretty crazy seeing how powerful it is in person. It was definitely the biggest and strongest waterfall I have seen in person.

Niagara Falls Hornblower Cruise
Hornblower is the only Canadian operator that takes you up to the falls. You get to see up close how strong the water is and let me tell you…you’re going to get wet (unless you’re inside the boat). Be sure to take care of your camera or use something that is waterproof like a GoPro!
